GSA recently issued notification of an upcoming Refresh under the new MAS consolidation solicitation. The refresh will be issued January 15, 2020. The purpose of the refresh is due to feedback received from industry. Some of the changes will be:
Planned Changes
- Implementation of 2nd Interim Rule 2018-017 Prohibition on Contracting for Certain
Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment - Expiration and removal of FAR 51 Deviation Authority
- Required updates to current contract clauses/provisions
- Re-mapping some legacy SINs to new SINs
If you are a contractor currently working on an offer, please accept refresh #1 prior to submitting your offer. If you have already submitted an offer under MAS, please work with your assigned contracting specialist or officer to accept refresh #1 prior to award.
Current Schedule holders will not be impacted by this refresh, any updates made in refresh #1 will be reflected in the Mass Mod issued to current contractors in January 2020.
