GSA recently announced the relaunch of their Office Supplies Multiple Award Schedule 75 on January 16, 2018 . With the relaunch of the schedule they have added a new Special Item Number (SIN 75-220) for Office Products and Services called Office Supplies Fourth Generation (OS4), and (SIN 75-280) Overseas Office Products & Services/Office Supplies 4 Generation (OS4). This schedule will be managed by GSA’s (Region 2) Northeast Carribean Region.
Under this schedule GSA is requiring that contractors increase their green offerings to federal agencies such as providing one hundred percent recycled paper and remanufactured toner products. According to a GSA posting as of January 23, 2018 GSA Administrator, Emily Murphy said, ” The new MAS 75 and enhanced SIN were designed to leverage the advantages of utilizing the increased competition from OS2 and ensuring the transparency set forth in OS3, to help GSA accomplish its goals and create value. Increased competition and transparency will help customers and GSA’s industry partners by improving task order-level competition for the federal acquisition community and removing barriers to entry to industry. Ultimately, this means better value and more favorable terms and conditions for customers and more opportunities for small businesses in the government marketplace.
