GSA announced this month that they will begin piloting a Robomod process that would remove products that are offered by contractors that are not authorized to sell them. Unauthorized MAS vendors will be specified based on information from a Verified Products Portal (VPP). The VPP maintains supplier authorization information that allows the agency to receive data directly from the manufacturers and authorized partners. Impacted contractors will have thirty days to dispute the discrepancy upon notice from the agency.
This pilot program is focused on contracts with the highest number of identified unauthorized products.
