TDR Pilot Program Making Changes

To align with the Better Contracting Initiative goals the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) announced changes being made to the Transactional Data Reporting Pilot Program (TDR). In quarter 2 recurring contract feedback reports will offer reports for the contract holder monthly summary statistics, rolling counts of issued based flags, comparative data based on FAS Sales Reporting Portal (SRP) data (GSA, 2024).

In quarter 3 updated controls for TDR submission in the (SRP) that will allow for real time validation of the manufacturer name, manufacturer part number, unit of measure, and unit price fields against the contract holders catalog (2024). Contract holders will receive notification via email when transactions have potential errors. The agency states that after a suitable acclimation period specific field errors will trigger hard rejects (2024). These rejects will prevent faulty data from entering the agency’s systems and tools (2024).
