The White House is issuing new guidance to federal agencies that would support small business in accessing federal contracts and increasing revenue (2024). The first call of action was for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to release guidance to federal agencies on the types of strategies that should be adopted in helping small business participate in multiple award contracts (2024).
The second call of action is for the Small Business Administration to make improvements to the 7(j) technical assistance program, now coined as the “Empower To Grow” (E2G). The E2G program assist Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) that are located in low-income areas (2024). Offerings in this program are personal training that will assist in the pursuit of government contracts, and participation in networking and matchmaking events (2024).
