GSA recently announced a partnership with OMB and the Interagency Evaluation Officer Council for the launching of a new Special Item Number (SIN) subgroup called, “Program Evaluation Services”. The subgroup can be found under SIN Category 541611, Professional Services-Business Administrative Services, with a description Management and Financial Consulting, Acquisition and Grants Management Support, and Business Program and Project Management Services. The subgroup will be available to vendors July 20, 2023
For vendors to add the SIN to the contract they must possess technical expertise and relevant experience within the areas of program evaluation. The agency defines Program Evaluation as, “assessment using systematic data collection, and analysis of one or more programs, policies, and organizations intended to assess their effectiveness and efficiency”. Vendors will be required to submit a written application for review by the agency’s Technical Evaluation Board. Additional information will be issued on July, 20, 2023 as to how vendors should apply.
