GSA announced in December that the Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) will continue to take action to remove non-compliant products from MAS contracts and GSA Advantage. Products that are 1. Not compliant with FAR clause 52.204-23, Prohibition on Contracting for Hardware, Software, and Services Developed or Provided by Kaspersky Lab and Other Covered Entities, 2. Not compliant with FAR clause 52.204-25, Prohibition on Contracting for Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment. 3. Refurbished, reconditioned and repaired items. 4. Remanufactured items offered under a Special Item Number where they are not allowed.
Vendors are required to make certain that they are not offering non-compliant products on their MAS contract.
