FCP Update Yu Cannot Ignore

New GSA Contractors Updated Catalog Process

GSA is changing how new contractors upload and manage their pricing and catalog data. If you were just awarded your contract, you should not use the old SIP system or EDI. Those tools are being phased out for new awards. Instead, you will use the FAS Catalog Platform. GSA will send you a welcome email when it is your turn to start using it. Once you get that email, you can upload and manage your catalog there. This avoids you doing the same work twice.

Before your welcome email arrives, get your pricing and catalog file into the correct format. GSA now requires you to use their updated templates. If you originally submitted your offer using the old format, you need to switch it to the new one. Timing matters. If your award happened between late August and early November, you will get your welcome email on a set schedule. Awards after that should receive access shortly after award. If you were awarded before August twenty-eight, you can keep using SIP for now until GSA moves you to the new system. You will get notice before that happens.

While you wait to enter the new catalog system, double check your files for accuracy so you can upload without errors later.
