The General Services Administration (GSA) has taken another major step toward shaping the future of federal contracting. On July 8, 2025, the agency closed its OASIS+ Phase II Request for Information (RFI), a move that drew remarkable attention from industry.
In just three weeks, more than 1,200 companies responded, offering insights that will help GSA refine how it evaluates proposals and defines technical capabilities. The feedback spanned five emerging domains Financial Services, Human Capital, Marketing and Public Relations, Social Services, and Business Administration all of which could play a role in the next generation of this best-in-class contract vehicle.
The conversation didn’t stop there. GSA also fielded over 240 industry questions through its Phase II intake form. To keep stakeholders informed, the agency has published a spreadsheet that organizes responses by theme, making it easier for businesses to track issues that may shape a potential solicitation. For now, everything remains pre-decisional. The questions, answers, and feedback are being treated as part of GSA’s market research efforts. Still, the volume of engagement shows just how much anticipation surrounds OASIS+ and its potential to expand opportunities for both established and emerging service providers.
