If you sell to the federal government through the GSA Schedule, this update is one you don’t want to overlook.
The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) plans to release Refresh #30 for the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Solicitation 47QSMD20R0001 in November 2025. This update will bring several important changes that could affect how you manage your contract.
GSA is making adjustments across the MAS Solicitation to stay in step with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul, an effort to modernize and simplify how the government buys goods and services. These changes include updating several clauses and provisions to align with the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation and GSA Acquisition Regulation. Contractors will also notice a new statement directing users to GSA.gov for more information on ordering procedures. In addition, GSA is revising provision SCP-FSS-001, which provides instructions to offerors, to reflect the new regulatory framework.
Another change involves the Order-Level Materials Special Item Number, also known as SIN OLM. This section will be updated to match the recent standards implemented under the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul.
One of the most important things to remember is that once GSA issues the Mass Modification connected to Refresh #30, contractors must accept it within 90 days. Ignoring it could put your contract at risk or affect your ability to continue offering products and services through your schedule.
While these updates may sound technical, they have a real impact on how you price, submit, and manage your offers. Think of it as a system update for your contract. Staying ahead of the changes will help you remain compliant and competitive when Refresh #30 goes live in November.
